It’s been 6 week since I posted and I think I’m ready to dip my toes back into blogging.
First, how about a cute photo?
Isaac is starting speech therapy next week. We had an intake/initial assessment done a couple weeks ago. On Wednesday, they will do a more comprehensive speech and hearing test and we’ll be off and running with starting regular speech appointments. I really don’t think hearing is the issue, but we’re covering all the bases.
We went to the annual fall party for the business team at Nathan’s work and convinced the kids to pose for a photo together. There was live bluegrass music, yummy food, and a bonfire for s’mores.
Audrey was baptized about a week ago and I had the privilege of doing it. It was a great honor and we are so proud of Audrey that she made this decision. One of the sweetest things about the day was that it made Isaac so happy, he had tears in his eyes. It is so cool to see even a 6 year old understanding baptism.
The kids have been spending lots of time riding their bikes and playing with the neighborhood kids. I didn’t realize until recently how many kids are in our neighborhood. It’s hard to miss them when they are all in the street in front of our house. We like them there! It’s nice to know what’s going on and to be able to get to know other families. We should be having a new family moving in this weekend to rent the house right across from us. It’s a young couple with a baby and a toddler and the wife’s parents.
October has flown! Only 4 weeks (minus one day) until Thanksgiving!
