For the first time in a very long time, I kept track of everything I ate for an entire week. I don’t remember when I last did that and I’m so glad I did! I was down 2.8 pounds this week. It was encouraging to make some progress. I also was down 2.75 inches from last week. So, for this month, I’m down 4.4 pounds and 5 inches.
Since I last checked in, I’ve run a little over 14 miles and I’ve been working on my Shred DVD. I took a few days off of DVD because my knees and joints were aching and I didn’t want an injury. I ran really hard on Tuesday (4 miles in 48 minutes– that’s faster than I usually do my long runs– and 4 miles is a long run for me right now) and I was feeling it the next day.
I’m still not down to my pre-holiday weight, but I’m feeling more confident that I’m going to get there. I’m going bridesmaid dress shopping next week for Brian and Missy’s wedding and I hope to be down 2 more pounds by then. Something to work toward, I guess!
