We had Isaac’s birthday celebration on Sunday in Cottage Grove at my Dad’s house. It was very nice to not have to worry about getting our house ready (and keeping it ready) for guests. Thanks Dad!
We went to our own church in the morning. The summer schedule has our church service starting at 9:00. We knew we would be done in plenty of time to get to our 2:00 birthday party. We arrived in Cottage Grove at lunch time. We had lunch and finished prepping for the party. The guests arrived at 2:00 and we partied!
The most exciting part of the day was when Ethan called to Nathan from the bathroom. He said he had a problem. He told Nathan that he just discovered that he forgot to wear underwear. This, my friends, is a risk you take when your children dress themselves. I’ve learned that I guess I should ask Ethan if he’s wearing underwear the next time we’re getting ready to go somewhere. Who would have thought?
