We started our day with Dunkin Donuts. I’ve decided that should be a part of our Independence Day tradition.

Hopped in the pool with friends at 9:00am

Wore out by 11:00am

Supper at Grace Chapel in Leipers Fork.

We met up with friends there and I even got to see my friend Kim. I’m going to call her my friend because it’s easier than saying “my dad’s wife’s daughter’s husband’s sister” and I plan on making time to be her friend anyway

There were bounce houses and food.

A free Jeremy Camp concert (this event was at his church).

When the concert was over, they turned off the parking lot lights and set off fireworks. This was our first family fireworks with all 5 of us together. Lots and lots of fun! I wanted to have a real “local” holiday experience and we got it!
