We are getting a little relief from the heat. In the last 11 days, we’ve had 8 days that were over 100 degrees. I think I can safely say that I have never experienced that before! Having central air conditioning is very nice.

Nathan was chosen to be a part of an apprenticeship program at work. I’m very happy for him. It’s a two month program and I know he’ll learn a ton. He has already learned a lot in the last 6 months. I am very proud of him.

Speaking of Nathan, he has decided to sell his Star Wars cards that he had collected while in college. He very carefully researched what he had and the market price for it and strategically included all the right information in his ebay auction. The auction closes Wednesday and the high bid is currently over $300! Woohoo!

It was a nice restful day today. We’ve been running around a lot and I’m reminded that I need my time at home to recharge my batteries.

I made good choices with my diet today. I’m hoping that I can stick with it and get some momentum going in the right direction.
