It was 60 degrees today and rainy. It rained a lot. After Isaac’s nap we ventured out to the library and when we got back I check some news online and discovered that there had been a tornado warning a few hours earlier. I had no idea. The sky looked normal and it wasn’t windy. So strange. I guess there was something spotted near Nashville. It occurred to me, then, that I don’t know if they do sirens here for tornadoes and we don’t have a basement. Hmmmm…. things I would never have thought I would have to learn!
I researched school stuff for Ethan and I think we’re pretty much settled. I know what I need to do to be in compliance with state law and I have some leads on homeschool groups and co-ops that I’m going to try to connect with. Ethan is going to be very happy!
I’ve found a Bible Study that I’m going to join. Tomorrow I get to go and meet everyone and next week we start officially. I can’t believe I’m going to drive to a stranger’s house and do this. I need to start somewhere though!
Thanks for the nice comments about the photos. We emptied a few more boxes tonight. At some point, our room will look nice enough for a photo!
