Nathan arrived in Cottage Grove after midnight last night (actually this morning). He finished his last day at Crown, went home, had meetings with two people about the house and then packed up the rest of our belongings.
The “rest of our belongings almost entirely filled the van. And I had a ton of stuff in Cottage Grove waiting to be loaded. Not to mention 3 kids and 3 adults that needed to fit in the two vehicles. It was a tight fit and some things were left behind. Luckily for Isaac, he made the cut. We decided we couldn’t do without him.
With all the work of getting everything to fit our departure was a little later than we planned, but what has gone according to plan during the process? It was only about a half hour later than I hoped. Not bad.
We made it safely to Effingham, IL tonight. We are exhausted and a little cranky 
We are ready to start our new life!
