I went along with 7 other women from our church on a canoe adventure today!
We went about 7 miles. The plan was to leisurely float and paddle down the St. Croix River between Wisconsin and Minnesota. The water was a lot higher this year though and we were working against the wind. It made for a challenging ride! My arms and shoulders will be sore tomorrow.
The minute I got home and walked in the door, Nathan said that we were going to Hutchinson to meet the Fairchild’s for pizza. Ethan was thrilled to see Frank. Ralph took over Isaac duty for a little while. Isaac-duty included allowing him to take off his socks and shoes and splash in the fountain in the center of the park. In about 10 years, Ralph is going to be a very competent grandfather! Audrey sang and danced for Jean. Ethan showed off his rock climbing skills and dutifully copied Frank in trying to put ice down the backs of anyone he could reach! I think they got the whole Fritz family experience! I think it was just enough time to remind Liz of all the fun she’s going to have teaching early childhood classes!

We had a blast with your family! Ralph will be a terrific Grandpa in 10 years or so…no hurry..that’s what great nieces and nephews are for!
