Nathan went back to work today. I had really gotten spoiled having him around last week!
The day started out well. I was determined to be productive. I only snoozed my alarm once and was out the door for my morning run by 5:40. By the time Nathan left, I had folded some laundry, started another load of laundry and decided that we would go to the beach today.
I planned to leave after Isaac’s morning nap. I laid him down, but he never fell asleep. While he laid in bed talking and crying off and on, I packed sandwhiches for lunch, gathered our towels and beach stuff and got Ethan and Audrey ready to go. Then I scooped up Isaac and we all headed to the beach.
We spent about 2 hours at Lake Waconia. Because it was overcast and not that hot today we only had to share the beach with one other family. It was a fun way to spend the morning. Isaac stayed awake in the car and gave me a good 2 1/2 hour nap when we got home.
My energy seems to have left me though. As I’m blogging, Nathan is picking up toys and cleaning. I’m very lucky to have such a helpful husband! I’m hoping I get a second wind sometime soon.
