A mom, a dad, and three cute kids.

Our weekend

No new pictures. Words will have to do for this post.

Yesterday, Ethan and Audrey went to Underwater World with Aunt Jean and Uncle Ralph and Liz and Frank. The kids had a blast! They have such exciting adventures with the Fairchilds.

Later that evening, we had the Sweetheart Banquet at our church. Childcare was provided so we brought our 3. When I asked earlier I was told that there were 6 kids signed up. By my math, that would seem that our kids would be half of that group. Upon arriving we discovered there were a few more. We dropped them off and headed upstairs. There were 26 couples. There were 3 couples at each table. We sat with the associate pastor, Greg, and his wife, Debbie. The other couple I had only briefly talked with before- John and Lyn. John works at Crown. Nathan knew him a little, but we had fun hearing more from them. 4 couple were chosen to do The Newlywed Show. Nathan and I laughed so hard. It was very funny to hear the answers that couples gave to the different questions. The food was great too!

It was after 9:00 when we got home. So, this morning when Isaac went down for his morning nap and didn’t wake up as early as he normally would (which would have enabled us to get to church in time), we let him sleep and decided to stay home. Actually, Nathan made the decision and I was still in bed. I wasn’t feeling great and I was so tired. My Sweetheart got up and took care of the kids this morning! He does that most mornings while I catch a few more minutes of sleep. He’s a good one. I’m very thankful for him.

After finally getting out of bed, I did the dishes and then I folded 4 loads of laundry. After lunch, I went for a run and then I headed to WalMart to get groceries. I’m glad I went to running when I did. It was nice and sunny and relatively warm when I went out. Later, the wind picked up and the temperature dropped a lot.

Yes, I’m still running regularly. I love running and feel bummed when I can’t get out and do it 3 or 4 times a week. I did 10.3 miles this week. I’m hoping to average about 13 a week for the year. It should be easier once winter is over.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
