New haircuts today! It was a beautiful day and we have beautiful kids so I thought we should take some pictures. Nathan took the “flying” pictures. Didn’t they turn out great? We were perplexed as to why Ethan needed the big scoop shovel until he brought it over by the shed where we had found some snow under a bag of leaves. We always use that shovel for snow so he saw the snow and knew exactly what he was supposed to do. I love these kids!

We needed the car today so we had to pick up Nathan from work. On the way home, Ethan told us that he had asked Jesus into his heart on Tuesday. He likes to use “Tuesday” for anything he wants to do or has done. He just likes that day of the week. I asked him about it and I explained it and he kept saying, “Jesus in my heart”. He hollered it out two times in the car. I believe that he has asked Jesus into his heart in a way that he understands as a little boy is almost 3. He had made a similar statement right after mom passed away and I think he wanted to make sure that I believed him! We’ll keep having discussions about what this means as he gets old, but isn’t this cool? Have I mentioned how much I love my kids?!
